Heading (no pun intended) to Vegas for only the 2nd time. Sales meeting at MGM, but I'm going out early and staying somewhere else. I just don't know where yet. Looking at the Mirage ($109/night) for a 4 night stay before having to go to the MGM for meetings for 4 days. Opinions on other reasonable hotels. $100 a night range.
thanks,

On the course!
If you can stay there for that, I think it's a pretty good deal.

You will hit the 150-200+ club to do better.

(Personally.........I have felt that if you don't wager, at least, exclusively black chips at places like this, they feel you are wasting their time.)

Thank you YYZ

Thank you YYZ

YYZ,
Thank you for the reply. I am taking my wife to Vegas for the first time. She leaves on Sunday. I'm there til the following Wednesday. I'm not a black chip player unless i'm playing on their money. Rated 1 time at $38 per hand @ Black Jack for 9 hrs of play at the Pink Chicken (Hilton) (another sales meeting).

YYZ, I just wanna be a big dawg. No money mngmt skills. Let it ride. :lol2

Thanks for the heads up.

Head,

I stayed at the Mirage in Sep't. & had a very good time. The sportsbook is top notched & a friend really liked the poker room. The restaurants we ate in also were very good. I liked it better than the MGM.

I'm sure you & the wife will have a good time.

AR182,
Thanks for the heads up. I'm getting more excited by the day. Heading to Daytona next Wed for Speed Week, come back rest and head to Vegas. Only been there once, but completely addicted. Hoping the Mirage is good for the lady. I can have a good time anywhere, but it is important for her to be happy. Cause, if Mama ain't happy, Ain't nobody happy.

Have stayed at both MGM and Mirage and must say I liked the Mirage better. Nice amenities at both, but feel the Mirage is the nicer of the two. And for the money, sounds like a great deal. As already mentioned, sportsbook is awesome with large televisions everywhere. Plenty of room to watch and if memory serves, a California Pizza Kitchen in between the sportsbook and the casino. Hope this helps in some way, and have a great time.....:D

TJ,
Yep. That's why she had a smile walking down the aisle. Last one. And, if the aisle didn't get it, the cake sure did.

I appreciate it Noodle. I went to the website, and I'm getting excited. Might even get some head at that gig.
