Love UNC here, especially with a few of the issues the UCONN team has had this past week. Anyone have any insight or thoughts on this matchup? Really like UNC here.......

UNC 6-2 as DD fav (line opened at -10)
I think 7.5 is an easy number for UNC to cover, they should come out gangbusters after the loss to Duke.

UConn F Anderson OUT - 13.8 ppg.

FWIW i think we will cover, to play as badly as we did in the last game and still have a shot to win in cameron is telling, uconn suffering injuries etc coupled w/ bad loss at dook make me think heels will show up in a big way tomorrow.

Uconn suffering injuries? they have one guy out.yes it's anderson but they came into syracuse and won, anderson was on the court but did not play,20 min 4pts.What about your head injuries, this team is wounded in more than one way, nobody's talking about j williams knee, did you see this guy against duke,he really hurt his team, would not be surprised to see him go down, hope they got some PSYCH-HELP FOR McCANTS.

YOU HAVE TO SEE TODAYS RALEIGH NEWS AND OBSERVER. BIGGEST ARTICLE I HAVE EVER SEEN IN A SPORTS PAGE. 1 AND HALF PAGES ABOUT RASHID AND HOW HE IS MISUNDERSTOOD. MOST OF THE ARTICLE IS ABOUT HIS TENNIS SHOES AND TATTOOS.HE HAS ABOUT 100 PHRASES OR INITIALS WRITTEN ON HIS SHOES.HE IS STILL BLAMING HIS OLD COACH MATT DOUGHERTY.HE BELONGS IN PORTLAND OR ATLANTA PLAYING IN THE NBA,NOT IN COLLEGE. THERE IS NOT ONE WORD ABOUT HIS CLASSES OR STUDIES IN ARTICLE.

Uconn is thin right now. Anderson still in hospital and Williams sat out of practice on friday with illness(either fever of flu) not sure if he practiced saturday. Also in friday practice Villanueva took a hard hit and was down for a while, not sure if there will be a lingering effect.

Longhorn, you are living a dream. What a girl you have ! Hell, anybody that can find a woman like that should have no problem steering in a roald chalk or two.

anyone else think it is a strange line?
everyone and their mother saw nc lose and play awful on wed., and most watched uconn play very well in the upset over the cuse on mon. the line opens at 9 or 10, where did vegas think the money would go? line down to 7-7.5

If it's too good to be true it is. Especially if you think you have a lock when you say, "they've got their leading scorer out".

More times than not, the unexpected happens. Going with that trend and taking UCONN BIG.

UNC wounded wtf are you talking about? The only thing that is wounded with this team is their egos after the duke game. I'm glad you discount them after a poor performance, I hope the rest of the teams on their schedule this year do the same.

If you don't figure in the loss of a player who puts in 14ppg into you're capping good luck trying to make money. Why are you surprised about Jawad Williams? He hasn't been the same player since he suffered a concussion last year. McCants is in a shooting slump right now, which happens to most good players (see JJ Redick last 5 games). He put in about 26 last year against UCONN so maybe he will light it up again.
