Nashville -135.....Both teams are tied and fighting for a playoff spot still, and nothing is secure for either one.
The Preds have a very fine 22-9-7-2 home record while the Blues are a mediocre 15-18-4-2 on the road. I say...back the home team!
Montreal -.5 -115....Here the Canadiens, losers of 5 straight, have incentive to lock up the 7th position and not have to face Tampa in the first round, while building a little momontum and pleasing the home fans in their last regular season game, and also exacting some payback for last week's loss in Buffalo. The Sabres are history now, having been eliminated from the playoffs last night....

Toronto +155.....this is really a value play in the strictest sense...rarely do you get a team of this quality at this price. Sure, Ottawa is good, but this game figures to be a toss-up, and recent history will bear that out. Belfour will be in nets tonight, coming off a 2-0 shutout of the Sabres last night. BTB games should not bother him , as he will have 4 days off before the playoffs start to rest, and the Sens are still without #1 backstop Lalime. Although Prusek played pretty well last night, he has been very inconsistant, having been yanked from goal the game before. Both teams are jockeying for playoff positioning, and besides, this Battle of Ontario has become one of hockey's greatest rivalries...

Edmonton +135...Those pesky Oilers will not go away! They are tied with both Nashville and St.Louis for 7th and 8th spots in the west, but have played one more game...so this last game is a must for them, as they still have a chance no matter what happens in the afternoon game between Nashville and St.Louis. Canucks are securely in after winning in San Jose last night. Oilers are rested, waiting, and hungry..look for the upset here!
