Any word on status of Maryland QB?

Thursday?s D-day for Terps? C.J. Brown
If Maryland is to have its starting quarterback as it attempts to rebound from the first loss of the season, it should be known in short order.
According to head coach Randy Edsall, a determination on C.J. Brown?s availability for Saturday?s game against Virginia will be made after Thursday?s practice. Brown suffered a concussion in the Florida State game Saturday.
The hit caused a bit of a controversy as Seminoles defensive tackle Jacobbi McDaniel put his helmet into Brown?s chest but, after the ACC reviewed the play at the Terps? request, it was determined that no call for targeting on the field was the proper one.
The loss of Brown would be significant. The fifth-year senior is one of the most proficient quarterbacks in the country midway-ish through the 2013 season, rated No. 14 in passing efficiency and having thrown just one interception in 113 attempts.
Brown wouldn?t just be missed in the passing game as he?s a dual-threat, with his 286 yards rushing putting him second on the team in that category. To amplify that, he?s accounted for 13 touchdowns ? seven passing and six rushing.
If Brown is unable to go, the starting job would fall on the shoulders of Caleb Rowe. This season, the sophomore has thrown 24 passes. Last season, Rowe played in two games as a true freshman before he became the last of a staggering four Maryland quarterbacks who suffered season-ending injuries in a span of two months.
Brown, of course, was one of the Unfortunate Four.

Thank you for the info - playing them on a teaser -1... still think they come out ahead at home no matter who plays QB vs Virginia.

it doesn't matter.. they are playing Virginia... the virg qb is just awful... did you see the pit game ? I bet against them last wk based on that game... MD should cover easy ....
