they have struggled mightily on the road this year....they are not a strong team on pass defense....and jeff rowe can sling it a bit....particularly at home....

boise struggles to stop people on the road week after week and the lines stay astronomical....

if this was at boise,i`d say maybe 26 is a realistic line.....

but vs a 5-0 team at home(i know they haven`t beaten much quality at home)that does score at home,i think this just might be a bad line....

they may throw a 50 on nevada.....i have to think that nevada can get at least 24 at home vs a suspect secondary.......

san jose hung....tulsa hung in...utep hung in...

why the hell not..

hello nevada.....play a little run defense....just a little...please...

thoughts appreciated...

line is definitely jacked. can certainly see some value in nevada. my main concern is the wolfpack run defense. fresno absolutely gashed them last week (290 yds, 6+ yds a carry). then again, fresno is playing as well as anyone in the country the last month so its not just nevadas run defense that cant stop the dogs. anyways, back to boise. like you said, broncos havent been anything to write home about away from home this yr. in fact, theyve been borderline mediocre away from the carpet. i just dont see enough life in nevada to trust em not to mail it in. it seems that in the power conferences, you will get at least a game effort even out of the conference bottom feeders in the final weeks. but sometimes, these midmajor doormats just completely mail in the final week or two. tough game.

i took both nevada & san jose st.

nevada is a perfect 5-0 ats at home this year while boise is 0-3 ats on the road.

sjs is 5-2 ats in their last 7 so they have shown that they haven't packed it in for the year.

good luck.

Boise

Boise

They struggled mightily to Tulsa and San Jose. That defense is terrible on the road. Strong lean on Nevada.

I agree with you guys, but I have to think Boise sitting at 7th in the BCS might play a factor. You can bet your bottom dollar that Boise isn't going to take the pedal off the medal in the 4th if this game is in hand. Most likely a pass for me just because I think Boise is going to try to score as often as possible.

Blackman I think you hit the nail right on the head. If Tex A&M beats Texas, Boise has a shot at a BCS berth. There best opportunity then is to pile on the points.

Good Luck

For me the best option is to pass, just because I think you lose the backdoor cover possibility. In my opinion the line is high, but whenever I take a doggy on such a high line I like the potential backdoor to be there, because that's how a lot of teams get covers in this situation. Is Boise 26 points better? I'm not sure about that, but I do know that if they are up 27 and have the ball in the 4th quarter they are going to look to get into the end zone again instead of running the clock.

Just my 2 cents.

Ditto Blackman again. If Boise happens to give up a score late to potentially get backdoored but you still have 1-2 minutes left on the clock, Boise is probably going to try and put it in the endzone again. Best play is the over if you can get it.

Good Luck

Take points seems right way. Nev should get 27 to 30.

From The Judge's Docket

In the Broncos road games this season they have won by margins of only 16, 3, and 7 points and their opponents in two of those games were Tulsa and San Jose State with only three wins between them. Nevada beat them both this season by larger margins that Boise.

This is a golden spot to take an underdog at home where they are undefeated and getting nearly four touchdowns against a team who is getting too much respect and has not played well on the road.

Over 72 is the way to go.
Boise is going to put up alot of points and is going
to give up alot of points.
With the BCS thing, the starters are going
to be left in the game throughout.
