When the Republicans had complete control of everything for SIX years why didn't they do something about it then?

StevieD, the same reason the Democrats are having problems now, not enough votes in the Senate to get legislation passed, the FILIBUSTER or the threat of a FILIBUSTER, that majical 60 votes are hard to get a times.

My Point is that you blame the Liberals for this mess when in fact no one said no to Bush for SIX long and draining years. I admit the Dems have nothing to be proud of but to blame them for everything is a little short sighted. Not much difference between the parties anymore as the Neocons have infiltrated both parties.
