Most of the starters that I look at--when I'm looking to see how they perform in their day starts--perform BETTER in their day starts than night starts.

The batting stats don't seem too out of whack to me. There's a few glaring ones like the Angels OPS of .689 during the day, Seattle .676 during the day, or even the Mets at .825 during the day (wish I could get that R/L splits). But generally offensive stats don't look so DOWN during the day.
I'm just wondering why almost every SP has a better ERA and better BAA during the day.

Even more curious as to how it's affecting totals.

I think I'm staying away from the d'rays-Indians OVER because of this day stuff; Shields has done his best work during day starts for years now and Lee, for his career, has a better ERA day than night.

Chime in if you got anything for me.
Even an opinion.

Thanks man.

I've been there before but for other reasons.

I'll have a boo tomorrow and see if I can make some use of it.

Just catching your recommendation now, shawn555.

Thanks.

I've used sportsnetwork.com for some things, but haven't used them for any stats...I'd be particularly interested in DAY/NIGHT over/under records...of some sort...team-by-team is probably too much to ask for.

I'll have a boo once I'm done my June updates...I'm a few days behind.

Thanks again.
