JUST STARTED TRADING THE FOREX AND THERE'S A SH$$LOAD OF INFORMATION OUT THERE ABOUT SYSTEMS AND STRATEGIES.

CHIME IN IF YOU HAVE A SYSTEM THAT WORKS! CURRENTLY USING FXCM AS A TRADING PLATFORM AND USING MTI 4.0 CHARTING FOR SCALPING SYSTEMS AND INDICATORS.

SB, I've been trading Forex for about 5 years now.

The one thing I'll say about the Forex world is that it almost mirrors the sports betting world. There are more people are out to screw you than there are legit ones. When you see somone claiming they can make you a ton of money, think Jim Feist and run away.

I've done just about every style of trading you can think of and on about every time frame from the 1minute chart to the monthly. I love to scalp but I just don't have the time to do it anymore. I've settled in to longer term trades(long term in Forex to me are trades that last a day or two at most) I trade "naked" as you will see a lot of people talk about. Basically it means no indicators on the chart. I trade strictly off of price action and fib levels. If you want to learn about price action, and I highly suggest you do, get Steve Nison's book on Japanese Candlestick charting. Put that in with learning about Fib levels and you'll be well on your way.

I posted 2 or 3 trades in the forum for trading here on MJs but didn't know if anyone ever cared or not so I stopped.

If you need any help just let me know. I blew thru a LOT of money "learning" how to trade. I would think I had the holy grail and then would blow my account out. A lot of systems work in the short term but it's very hard to find something that works all the time. Price action and fibs are as good and reliable as it gets but not the most exciting which is what most new people are looking for.

The Candlestick Course should be required reading for anyone trading their own accounts in any market.

Great suggestion, lw.

I remember you posting your trades here a while back. You would be a great addition in the monthly market threads.

Bring it on!
