Anybody know anything about NBC suits and gas masks??

I figure if people are retarted enough to buy duct tape and plastic wrap -- they`ll buy my NBC Suit and Gas Mask. Its authenic military equipment that I bought from Knox.

My question is...

whats the difference between the standard issued US Military mask and the Isreali mask?!?!?

reason I ask is because on eBay they are selling shitloads of Isreali masks.

first off is not a new suit or unopened one it's not worth anything as far as protection goes neither are the filters inside the mask. not an nbc guru but attended enough training for these dam things and I believe that there are differnet types of canisters that attach to the mask depending upon the agent used. Filters ususally only have a life expectancy of 8 hours also. Suits usaully last 6-24 hours depending upon suit and agent and non exposure to any elements. suits out of bag have a life span of about 30 days if kept clean and out of the sun. But hey if some idiot wants to buy it let him buy it. Do you really think that suit will protect you anyway? if we did get bio'd here better have about 10 in reserve you will have to swap out. v-agents and some blister can linger for up to a week. better get some atropine also. any fool stupid enough to inject with that is crazy. lol.


m-17 is the old style protective mask and m-40 is the new style it is more comfortable. Air Force ground personnel use the M17 Series Masks or the MCU-2/P series masks.

The isreali mask is not approved by all bodies of chemical wear.

Nope, in fact I remember them telling me that in NBC training. Depending on how far away you are from the blast. If its a chemical and biological attack and your a good distance away, then all you`ll have to do is stick a needle in your leg and ass, otherwise your dead. If its a nuclear attack, they taught us to lay totally flat(stomach first) with our kevlars facing the blast(mushroom cloud), yea pretty much we are dead.

Wearing that NBC suit in 100 degree weather sucks balls. That suit on the inside is all charcoal...and heavy as hell. I remember we had to be those suits for 4 hours at our FTX training - most of us fell asleep

ohh no shit!!!! We had to watch movies(not The Rock) but real personal movies about that. Possibly the sickest thing I have ever seen in my life. Thinking about it just gives me a tingly shivering feeling....blah

Well hellah this is where I have a problem with Iraq. People do not realize what this shit can do, they have absolutely no clue what so ever. I just pray our troops do not have to face this either it could get really messy real quick. Gl with the sale hope some fool buys it lol.

what the hell is so bad about giving yerself a shot of atropine and 2 Pam Chloride?
its just like getting a flu shot or a ppd shot except its quicker cuz the needle is spring loaded and then you get to lay on the ground and flop around like a fish out of water.
