can this line be right? tenn laying 9 on the road? and, according to sportsbook.com, 63% are on tenn? i find this hard to believe. everybody knows how far tenn has fallen this year. and, i know how much people love this 'logic'... kentucky beat vandy, and vandy beat tenn, so kentucky will beat tenn. so how the heck are people laying the 9? i flat-out don't get it. makes me think this is a trap. and please don't tell me this is tennessee's bowl game. i don't think tennessee is gonna get fired up for this one.

is it possible i'm overanalyzing this? reading too much into it? are the linesmakers and the public just that stupid? i believe the public is, but not vegas.

any feedback is welcome.

The Wildcats suck worse than Tenn...thats my logic for this game...Volfan, we both know Tenn will bounce back next season

thanks, volfan, i was hoping to hear from you. that line just looks fishy, doesn't it? UK is 3-0-1 ATS at home this year. Tenn is 0-6 as a fav. if this is a legit line, i'll take the points, thank you very much. i'm just trying to find any explanation for why tenn is laying 9 on the road. vegas doesn't usually put out bad lines on SEC games.

thom, i certainly agree. but UK has shown SOME signs of life. and they've got to know this is the best chance they'll ever have to beat tennessee. AND, as i said earlier, i can't imagine tenn will be particularly interested in this game. the line just seems out of whack.

The only real difference in the stats is rushing defense...but it is huge!...and that's my top priority when capping. And it is a good spot for the Vols, if they haven't packed it in for the year or have their head 'you know where' as Volfan said. I'll be pulling for my Cats, but if forced to get down it would be on the Vols...plus they have absolutely owned Kentucky over the years!...but I sure hope it ends today!

thanks, #cruncher. yeah, i see that tenn has covered 10 of the last 13 in this series. but UK only lost by 6 last year at tenn as a 24-point dog. for UK i think this really is their bowl game. they have to feel they can actually win this game.

Your right Smitty...Ky will be jacked up to the max, but the real key may be the Vols attitude coming into the game. Here is a team that beat LSU in Tiger Stadium and should have beaten Florida...but the chemistry or something just hasn't been right for them this year...But they are still a dangerous team, especially after a loss.

I have the same kind of luck with the Buckeyes, everytime I bet on them or against them the game goes the other way. I blame myself for the Penn St loss, I knew I should not have bet the game.

this game looks like an OVER play

think you'll see tennesse get their shit together today with AIGNE as qb....and cover the 9/10 line
kentucky beat Vandy because vandy had lost 2 defensive lineman injured on that game... and others injured ....today they won't score that easy on tennnessee defense
