anybody notice how msnbc treated hillary like a republican in last night`s debate?

i noticed a real antipathy toward hill not only from the questioners, but in particular, from mathews/olbermann and gregory in the post debate discussion....

hillary`s noticed too, given some of her comments.....her supporters are complaining on television about the news bias against her.....

i mean,i have serious issues with most hillary stuff...the flip-flopping on iraq/socialzed healthcare/creating 5 million new jobs(how do you create jobs when you are anti-corporation and anti-business?...... after all they actually hire people....unless she`s talking 5 million new
government jobs).....:nono:

my,how times have changed...

obama tap danced on the "endorsed by 'calypso louie' fahrakhan" question....and hillary actually had to ask for a clarification on obama`s piss poor answer to the initial question.......the moderators let it slide...

and nafta?....they were on her like bill on an intern on nafta....i`m surprised tim russert didn`t break into song:" there's got to be a mourning nafta.....if we can hold on through the night".(maureen mcgovern rolling over in her grave...if she`s dead).....

not surprised by olbermann/mathews and gregory...they`re bisaed as hell for obama...but i was surprised by brian williams and "mr. potato head".......

boy,the worm has turned on the clintons....

now hillary`s people are putting statements in the media basically intimating that "regardless of who wins,it will be a clinton-obama/obama-clinton ticket".....

what gall......obama had better be careful....i can`t believe that michelle obama would be down with having hillary as v.p......

i don`t think he needs hillary...and i don`t think it`s in his best long term interests to have hillary one heartbeat away from the presidency.....not if it`s MY hearbeat...

all that said, this thing`s fqar from over...hillary`s only around 100 delgates behind....this thing`s still up in the air,if you actually look at the numbers...

and that`s what counts, the last time i checked...

gw...

what do you think the out cry would be if fox news was as obvious about it as nbc ?

ar...most of these guys have never watched fox....they may have watched o`reilly once....

what they fail to realize is that hannity has colmes as his counterpoint...brit hume always has a balanced panel(nobody in their right mind would ever call juan williams and mort kondrackie conservatives).....bob beckel, kirstin powers, lanny davis, ellis henican.....on their media watch show they always have 2 liberals and 2 conservatives....

always a counter-balance...when have you EVER seen that on olbermann or mathews` show?....

and in a debate setting, have you ever seen fox let ideologues like o`reilly or hannity anywhere close to their coverage?....while msnbc uses olbermann and mathews as the linchpins.......it`s never happened on fox......

and in the few times msnbc uses a "conservative",it`s some fringe wacko like pat buchanan who hates bush as much as they do....

i fully expect ron paul to eventually work for pmsnbc.....

Wasn't Bill Clinton the 1st black president?

Team Clinton should be treated better.

i agree,i.o....how can they forget hillary`s accomplishments?....

"i was 'first lady'!....i traveled!...how dare you ignore that!.......i fired the entire travel office staff in the white house, and was singlehandely responsible for over 40 investigations during my tenure as first lady!.......and i had the fbi files of every significant republican drawing breath(i wish i`d had obama`s:shrug: ).......

and i stole the silverware and the furniture when i left...

now how many first ladies can say that!"

hard to forget all that good stuff...

Never thought I'd have sympathy for Clinton--but might have just a tad--as far as fair play

She's in tough position--has press against her-can't attack him on issues as much the same--can't attack him on value issues without getting racist tag--and finding out what its like to be on flip side of 90% vote- :)

Yep AR they be coming down on Fox like bandits.

---and wonder when the parrallels of his mentor minister Wright and Fahrakhan get some press?

Wright and Obama ties- is a story in itself--his book Audacity of Hope was named after a sermon by Wright--Have been several say uncanny resemblence of Wrights sermons and Obamas--Hope/Change stumps--

The title of Obama's latest book, The Audacity of Hope, explicitly salutes a sermon by Wright called The Audacity to Hope, and his speeches are sprinkled with Wrightisms, but his debt to the preacher goes deeper. While Wright works his magic on enormous congregations with the basic message of liberation theology - that we're everywhere in chains but assured of deliverance by the living Christ - Obama, when on form, entrances largely white audiences with the same essential story, told in secular terms and stripped of its references to specifically black experience. When Wright says "white racists", Obama says "corporate lobbyists"; when Wright speaks of 'blacks', Obama says "hard-working Americans", or "Americans without healthcare"; when Wright talks in folksy Ebonics, of "hos" and "mojo", Obama talks in refined Ivy League. But the design of the piece follows the same pattern as a Wright sermon, in its nicely timed transition from present injustice and oppression to the great joy coming in the morning.

You keep bringing it back to race, if all it took was the black vote, America would have had a black president by now. Does it make you feel better to think that Obama's success is race based ? That 90% vote is less than 13% nationally and 10 of the states He has won had less than 6% blacks. What is your point ? She can attack him and she has, it doesn't work. When she does it durring a debate the crowd lets her know, they are not going for it. She has tryed at least once in every debate and she knew she couldn't win. I have said many times right here that the far left and far right are the same. Way before I knew who Obama was. It's funny how even the right is saying the media is on his side. The right is crying for Hillary. There is a left wing consiracy against a Clinton.... God bless America !!!!:142smilie What value issues ???? Hillary Clinton has values ?? I didn't think anyone on the Left had values... We are not talking about FAMILY VALUES ARE WE ???:SIB Come ON ! PLEASE ......

Obama may not get there & even if he does He may not be able to change much but the mindset of some. Those of us that are rooting for him are enjoying the ride. We are getting to see the likes of you sqirm at the thought of losing something that has never belonged to you. America doesn't belong to you. America belong to those of us around the world that share the dream of liberty and hope and peace and freedom every where.

I thought they let her run the show first 20 minutes. And let her have first chance to answer way to many times. And then she complained? Hey if your prez lady you have to answer the question all the time. That's first and first.

djv....it`s a disadvantage to be asked to answer first....you have to think on your feet....

it gives the other person time to think about an answer...and to play off your response...

and if you noticed, many times, obama`s answers were "i agree with hillary".....

i hate hillary, but i thought she kicked his ass all over the lot, despite being at a disadvantage thanks to the moderators....

i`ve seen time share presentations that were more exciting and have more information than obama provided....

that said, the sooner hillary`s off the stage, the better as far as i`m concerned...

Excellent point. There has never been an outcry about the "liberal media" when it comes to election years, esp. involving any network not known as "Fox News." Not ever. This is groundbreaking territory. It was certainly not ever brought up by Bush supporters in 2004. :mj07:

why would bush supporters cry about 2004?....

everybody knows the election was fixed....just like 2000......matter of fact, every election won by a republican has involved shenanigans....

bjf/"i can`t believe bush won...nobody i know voted for him"........

I've said multiple times on this forum that my friends are about 65/35 Republican (or at least were in 2004). Again... I know you are a little off balance upstairs... but WTF are you talking about?
