Anybody notice....Stanford-Washington???

Stanford shoots 40 free throws compared to Washington's 6..........Washington has 27 personal fouls compared to 11 for Stanford in a game where the rebounding edge was pretty close.....Stanford 33-30............

Sometimes it just make you think that the refs got a call from the Pac-10 commish and told them Stanford was on the bubble and if we are going to get 4 teams in the tourney then Stanford "MUST" WIN THIS GAME..................and no I didnt have a wager on this game..........


And dont respnod that Stanford is much more physical than Wash........the huskies are second the in conference in rebounding and Stanford is 5th.....also washing had shot 629 ft's in 28 games and stanford had shot 577 in 27 games.....

I had stanford. But as for the conspiracy angle - the Pac 10 surely wouldnt have let them lose to Wazzu on Thursday.

Just kidding about the conspiracy ...........but I still think those numbers are rather odd.........but on the other hand maybe since Stanford lost on thursday this game becomes bigger.......

I hate games like that. I took Washington and some of those calls were just horrible. anytime stanford would touch the ball in the paint, the refs would call it instantly. it was unreal. Huskies didn't help the cause missing 18 shots in a row though.

Those numbers are rather odd yes, but check out a couple other games where Washington gave up even more than 40 free throws in a game. . . crazy huh. That is why I played Arizona so huge against them yet the Cats barely even got to the line. . . go figure.

Still, the point is that the Huskies do not play very solid defense at all. . . so they have to foul. Something to consider when they get in the Big Dance
