Anybody watch 24????

just watched the Jan 7th episode of 24........I can honestly say that is the best tv show I have ever watched.........ever

incredible writing
superb acting
and you never know what is going to happen


with so much garbage on tv it's great to see a tv show that is a joy to watch:thumb:



and for those of you who do watch the show...........look out for Kate........she's the bad one.......she "played" Reza.


And boy oh boy is Jack in some trouble:scared :scared


by the way Kiefer Sutherland and Elisha Cuthbert (yummy) are both Canadian...........ok shameless plug I admit it

I personally have never seen 24, but I am now interested since hearing all of the good things about it in the thread I started about TV. How can I catch up on the series: are they playing reruns or is there a DVD set coming out soon?

well chickenman...........as TTMM says there are sites out there where you can download "8am-4pm (each episode is real time so you have missed 8 episodes).


As for DVD........season one (the first 24 hours) is out on DVD at almost all video stores.


Season 2 (the one that is on now) takes place two years after Season 1


So as for "catching up"....the best thing would be to download 8am-4pm and watch em. If your unable to do that.......just go to
http://www.fox.com/24/guide.html .......there you can read a detail synopsis of the 8 hours you missed.


But keep in mind there's 16 hours to go in Season 2 so it's woth watching from this point forward......

FX re-airs each 24 episode on Mondays...... so yesterdays episode will be on there this coming Monday. I am not sure what time but sometime in late evening 9 or 10pm . Just in case you miss an episode like I did last night watching the basketball games

Good show but can do without the daughter & presidents conniving wife, feel they pull the show down.

The daughter was great last year as she kept losing more and more of her clothes as the season ran on. This year, way too many close-up shots of her face when she's badly in need of Oxy.

I just got into 24 this year but I got the whole first season on dvd and it is awesome. Even though you know somethings already. i recomend it.

I think Elisa Cuthbert's bra size jumped 24 sizes from the first season to this one.

Tuesday night is the best 2 hours of TV!!!!
Watch an hour of "24" (awesome) and then switch to FX channell and watch "The Shield" (awesome also)

The good thing about "The Shield" is it's not on a major network, so they can get away with a lot more stuff, they don't have to be so politically correct!!!

I could not agree more!!!! missed the first year of 24 but bought the DVD edition and I recommend it without hesitation.
I watched every episode of the Shield last year and couldn't wait for this season to start. I only hope they don't try too hard this year. Sometimes when a show is great the first year, they tend to over do it the second year to try and prove something. The Sopranos was a victim of that to some extent.

Have never missed an episode - agree it is a great show. You have to suspend belief occasionally, but still exciting and somewhat plausable. They need to either strip down Kim or get her the hell of the show. It is getting annoying this year. And since they go the info from Nina, why not have a sharpshooter come in and put her down? Excellent show.
