If so, please fill me in on how these teams managed to put this one over the total. 123 points heading into the 4th, and somehow they go over the 181.5 by a half point.

Worst part was, it was listed as being over with a final of 92-89. Then all of the sudden there is a second back on the clock and Houston adds a FT. What a bad beat.

Anyone watch this game?

I watched the game on satellite, the last 5 minutes it turned into an up tempo game and both teams were just making shots. It seemed like Kobe Bryant made about everything.

at the end of the game Kobe missed a three that would of tied it and the Lakers commited a worthless foul with 1 second left in the game and Mobley hit the back end of the two free throws.

It was Mr Vanessa Williams...I mean Mr Rick Fox. Sucks for the Under players, but he had to foul to try and get the ball back, being down 3. Still a shitty way to lose a bet none-the-less.

Thanks for the info fellas. They must have been on fire in that last quarter.I try not to bitch about losses, as they happen every day, but lost three games today (NFL and NBA) by a combined 2.5 pts.

I shouldn't have chalked this one up as a win when I saw the score after three quarters. Oh well, sheet happens.

The ball really got rolling late in the 3rd quarter when the Rockets began their scoring spree. Though the 3Q managed to go "under", Houston's scoring momentum continued into the 4Q where they scored 13 points in less than 4 minutes. With the Lakers losing their once 7 point lead and falling behind by several points, it forced the champs to push the ball to catch up with the Rockets. You can bet if the Lakers had maintained their lead, they'd have run clock off and the game would've in all likelihood landed comfortably under 181.5.

BTW, all game LA had trouble stopping Houston's quick guys from driving into the lane.

I know you guys that lost dont want to hear this but this game should have gone over...

With 3 minutes left the 2 teams only needed 11 points...then there was 1 minute without scoring. There was more than one missed free throw at the end of the game by the rockets. i think there were 3 in fact....If they make those the lakers would have fouled more...hell francis committed a 24 second violation with 30 seconds left.

Anyway...watch out for these guys...if they continue to show the omprovemnet theyve shown as a team over the past 2 weeks they will be a contender. mark my words....
