Daily Caller Reporter Heckles President Obama During Immigration Remarks

In a remarkable display of unprofessionalism, Daily Caller reporter Neil Munro heckled President Obama as he delivered remarks in the White House?s Rose Garden regarding a shift in immigration policy Friday afternoon. Munro?s angst is apparently connected to comments the President made in March of 2011, in which he ruled out using an executive order to change immigration policy, even though no executive order was used for the current policy change.
Munro, the video indicates, was attending the remarks with a temporary press pass.
The Daily Caller?s Matt Lewis flagged this exchange earlier today, ostensibly to demonstrate a contradiction with today?s announcement of a policy change by the Department of Homeland Security:
MR. RAMOS: Mr. President, my question will be as follows: With an executive order, could you be able to stop deportations of the students? And if that?s so, that links to another of the questions that we have received through univision.com. We have received hundreds, thousand, all related to immigration and the students. Kay Tomar (ph) through univision.com told us ? I?m reading ? ?What if at least you grant temporary protective status, TPS, to undocumented students? If the answer is yes, when? And if no, why not??
THE PRESIDENT: Well, first of all, temporary protective status historically has been used for special circumstances where you have immigrants to this country who are fleeing persecution in their countries, or there is some emergency situation in their native land that required them to come to the United States. So it would not be appropriate to use that just for a particular group that came here primarily, for example, because they were looking for economic opportunity.
With respect to the notion that I can just suspend deportations through executive order, that?s just not the case, because there are laws on the books that Congress has passed ? and I know that everybody here at Bell is studying hard so you know that we?ve got three branches of government. Congress passes the law. The executive branch?s job is to enforce and implement those laws. And then the judiciary has to interpret the laws.
There are enough laws on the books by Congress that are very clear in terms of how we have to enforce our immigration system that for me to simply through executive order ignore those congressional mandates would not conform with my appropriate role as President.
However, the current policy change wasn?t effected by executive order, and appears to be consistent with what the President said next in that exchange:
That does not mean, though, that we can?t make decisions, for example, to emphasize enforcement on those who?ve engaged in criminal activity. It also doesn?t mean that we can?t strongly advocate and propose legislation that would change the law in order to make it more fair, more just, and ultimately would help young people who are here trying to do the right thing and whose talents we want to embrace in order to succeed as a country.

Looks like it wasn't a PLANT.

Ozark Tea Party Founder Richard Caster

The head of a Tea Party group in north-central Arkansas said a group leader who told a racist joke at a rally last week stepped down.

Richard Caster, the founder of the Ozark Tea Party, told HuffPost that Inge Marler, a member of the group's steering committee, has left her position following an ice-breaker she told prior to a speech at a June 9 rally. Caster said Marler surprised everyone with the remark, which was not in her original speech.

"I had no idea," Caster said. "She had given me her whole speech, and it was about her growing up in Yugoslavia and coming to America. I am on stage and then she said something not like what she gave me. I was shocked. I looked at the guy next to me and he said 'oh my gosh'."

During her speech, Marler gave what she told the Baxter Bulletin was a joke she found online about black welfare recipients. Marler told the paper that she will stop telling the joke, which was greeted with laughter.

Caster did not know how to respond during the rally, he said, noting that he is "learning everyday" how to run the group, which he founded in 2009.

"She is a gray-haired elderly lady, and I did not want to go up and yank her off stage," he said. "In hindsight, I should have said something."

Caster said he met with Marler Thursday, after the story was reported in The Huffington Post to discuss the impact of the remark. He said she agreed to step down from the steering committee seat she's held since March.

Why do black people lean to the center of their car?
"They think the smell is coming from the outside

...............................................................

I think this was the joke she told.

after she told it she quickly smelled under both of her pits and squinched up her nose.
