he personally handed pitt 3 pts calling that TO immediately after play with 1:27 left (bleed it 35 secs and PITT doesnt even try to score)... knew it would bite my ass ... once again I cant believe how f*cking stupid so many pro and college coaches are with clocks ... hamhock and sidekick ddidnt even point it out in booth...

makes me sick, TD for SD wont cover and in game like this makes cover about 50% harder ... sickening

I was watching and couldn't believe it. Although, I keep saying that, so this stupidity gets easier to believe every week.

I told my roommate....why are they calling timeouts with so much time left? Run clock and see what happens, if you get 1st and goal, then use them, etc.

I'm on Pitt +3 and Pitt ML, so I didn't mind, just amazing to me. Also, how can video malfunction affect a review? If the guy was out, I would have been pissed.

There's the poor clock management that hurts, but you also have to thank SD for doing the proverbial "it's almost halftime and the other team has the ball so we have to let them score" routine as well. What is that??? Am I the only who notices this? How often does a defense step up and get a stop at the end of the half? It rarely happens. Teams are more than willing to give up points before halftime (college and pros) for some reason.

love the bolts, much superior to PITT hype ... marty made it harder than need be with blunder .... SD just toyed with them ... pitt prob not making playoffs IMO ... Ben avg behind pivot ... SD been my SB sleeper and I give them chance to beat anyone anytime ... ravens got many breaks to luck that one out, and I was on ravens that day ..


congrats to those who had seeds to see past PITT SB aura .. once rivers got in groove it was over ... Troy blitzes way too much ...

Completely agree. I don't think Pitt makes the playoffs either. Earlier I said SD would be my SB pick if Marty wasn't the coach. Any other coach and I think they make it. Congrats on the winner.

in the afc, there are plenty of good teams and sd will have a hard time making the playoffs, let alone getting a home game, let alone winning 2-3 games....especially with marty moose on their side.

balt has no off, will not do squat; lewis a has been ... all of them have achilles ... pats go troops is a joke, it woke up once all year ... colts who knows whats going on after today ... cincy D suspect; love their off explosivness, but it went south vs Pats ... denver wont win with jake .... jags I like more or less ...

like i said, on a neutral field Id take my chances with SD, have LT and merriman and gates (and rivers might be ready by then, looked great in 2nd half tonight)...

and nearly every NFL coach gets bashed on this bash ... cowher lost home game after home game in afc finals (and then couldnt do squat for years)... tuna allows Bledsoe to lose games, why? ... so is marty as bad as all those? well like i said, list me all the geniuses, bc in each case ALMOST all have been trashed ... I recall when nolan dalla used to hammer BELLI from here to moon ... obviously Belli is class by himself ... but the others have been dragged thru the coals, and even cowher very close to being ditched and if not a rooney owned franchise wouldve been, then vindicated with SB ring ... now, prob out of playoffs
