first off, i am an eagles fan.....but i'll try and be non-biased here. I really don't think the pats will put up that many points. the eagles are pretty much down and out at this point, especially on offense, but the defense is holding up. they didn't allow a single point on defense last week, granted it was against miami. they had multiple oppurtunities with short fields and couldn't get anything. one week before they held wsh out of the endzone when they had 6 or seven downs right on our goaling to force a field goal so they could stay in the game. their red zone D is one of the best in the nfl.
last weeks game against the bills was just a pathetic effort. the defense gave up on that game before it even started. the f'n corner backs and safties were playing 5 yrds off the receiver. they knew they were going to lose before it even started. the 32nd ranked defense showed up like they were suppose to a few weeks ago monday night against the cowboys.
on sunday night when new engalnd gets their big plays and i'm sure they will, they better take them allllll the way into the endzone because if the eagles get the tackles inside the redzone they will be settling for more fg's than td's.
i also like philly to cover the large, overinflated line here. and i like it even more with mcnabb not playing. s$$t, if he didn't go down last week, miami would have their first win of the year. feely has always played well as an eagles and i think we keep this a game all the way through.i know i'm going out on a limb here, but i see the eagles playing with a lot of intensity sunday night.
