anyone else surprised to see Gruden putting up w/ that chit???

Gruden comes off as such a hard ass......

i cant believe he put up w/ johnson up in his face like that.. i thought he would have slapped him.......or at least benched his stupid ass...

to make matters worse...he tried to hugg him after the game! the asshole still gave him a dirty look..come on gruden, if your going to make those stupid tough guy, pissed off looks every play of the game.. at least back it up a bit.

i dont care who you are.. i would have sat his ass on the bench..

i mean Gruden at least defend yourself... Johnson played you like a fool

i think Gruden liked it.....Keshaun is like himself.....Gruden at first might have been pissed but then I think he kind of laughed to himself and thought "all right, this guy and I are going to get along -- we both want to win more than anything".....

i thought it was one of the great moments i have seen -- that interaction and the look on Gruden's face.....sort of like he saw himself in Keshaun......and how could you scream back at yourself?

I thought initially, that "wow, what a donut, KJ!" but it was heat of game and Gruden just kept his cool, knowing KJ was/is a competitive land mine ... and for Gruden to hug him, man, give a coach a break, Its about impossible to be all things to all players and I saw that gruden was trying to keep a vital cog in contact with his team and HC's spiritual backing .... I have coached HS hoops for 20 years and being a shrink is 50% of it if not more ... Im not a gruden fan one way or another, but i totally respected the way he handled it w/o losing his concentration from game

pt1.. agree with your thoughts on how Gruden handled himself but I betcha Gruden got KJ behind closed doors and nailed him to the wall. Those on field antics have got to be detrimental to the team. GL
