I get these invitations every few weeks with dinner for two at a local high end restaurant.

They must have one hell of a sales pitch!

we went to a time share thing once in Vegas the guy running it gave me $50 to leave (lol) got the promo too :lol:

TOO LONG, I LEFT AT 1/2 WAY MARK. SOME GOOD INFO BUT SO LITTLE PERTAINED TO ME. I'M GUESSING SEMINAR AND FOOD WOULD LAST 5 HOURS TOTAL. MORE IF PEOPLE ASK A BUNCH OF QUESTIONS. :0008

I've eaten at The Palm twice for lunch on Edward Jones dime. It actually wasn't much of a pitch. I was surprised.

By the way, The Palm is so freaking over-rated!

I wasn't really responding. I have been to timeshare pitches twice, pretty annoying and I hate them.

Also, I have been to a few company investment seminars where they take you out to lunch at a fancy restaurant. One was for Ameriprise at Cheesecake Factory. The other was for Great West at Chart House. Both were low pitch.

Hopefully kneifl didn't get sucked into one of those Ponzi schemes at those seminars.

I hear those Ponzi schemes are right up there with genocide and mass starvation.
