anyone familiar with Henderson Nev living areas?

Looking at a small vacation home, prices too good to pass up...looking at 60-80K


Is there any areas to avoid like the plague?

I lived in Henderson when I first moved to Vegas. I am now in the northwest close to Summerlin. Henderson has many great homes around the Legacy Golf Course area which is Windmill and Green Valley Parkway. More expensive homes are further south by Dragon Ridge golf course off of Horizon Ridge. IMO Henderson or Summerlin is really the only 2 areas where I would buy a home. Hope this helps.

Look at Ft Meyers, Fl

I didn't click your NV link but I assume the majority of the homes for sale are bank owned foreclosed. They are very difficult to close on especially for the listed price, they turn into a bidding war, may take many months to finalize, and it's usually all cash that get the deals. That's what I heard anyway.
