Was Wisky close to scoring a TD on that last drive? I am watching the internet updates at work, couldn't tell. Was on the over and hoping against hope that Auburn might pull a prevent "D" and let Wisky score to push it over.

Here's what happened...
Wisconsin scored a TD and 2 pt conversion early in the 4th QTR and had all the momentum. Auburn was SOD on their next two possessions. Wiscy started a possession with about 5 minutes left at about their 30 yd line and still had the momentum and were moving the ball slowly up field.
THEN...Sorgi dropped back to pass, looking long, got pressure from both sides, and just threw it up for grabs over the deep middle, where it was tipped and then picked off by Auburn.
The Badgers Defense, with about 4 minutes left in the game and Auburn possessing the ball at the Aub 15, just could not stop Auburn, who drove it the length of the field for a TD.
Sorgi was sacked on the next Wiscy possession, and fumbled, setting up the last TD for Auburn.

The officials were ACC officials, which could be from the south, but let's not forget that the ACC has teams as far north as Maryland. Last time I checked that was not the south. ACC officials have fawked up a couple of bowl games already, but let's not make the statement that they were southern officials. I agree that it was one of the worst officiated games this season, just want to set the record straight. FWIW I had Wisky too, so I feel your pain!!
