Anyone from the Jacksonville area here?

I was thinking about driving down Superbowl weekend, I've found a few hotels about an hours drive away, does anyone know where the best sports bars are at in Jacksonville or in the area. Thanks

Thanks guys, Sneakers Sports Grille looks like a great place to watch the game, there actually charging $50 a person to secure a seat, not bad imo considering the town will be a madhouse and the bars will be mobbed. :scared . Does anyone know what the ride is like between Jacksonville an Gainesville? is it all highway, smooth sailing, with or without many cops? Thanks

I was going to stay in Gainesville, but now I'm considering staying north of Jacksonville, somewhere in Georgia unless any Madjackers have any connections for a weekend rental sat/sun night me my wife and son.

Amelia Island, GA is the best place to stay, IMO. You can rent houses for around $1500 per week if you search hard enough. I am sure the prices are higher for SB.

If you are coming form gainsville watch your ass going through waldo and lawtey on sr 301. There is actually a billboard AAA put up that says speed trap ahead. They will pull you. As far a sports bars sneakers is good. My personal favorite is bw3(buffalo wild wings) on baymeadows.
