I just got a new TV, and a friend who is a techie talked me out of the smart version.

He said there is not enough for the tv to do right now, and by the time there is, you would want a newer version anyway.

Sounded good enough to me!

agree with yyz. If you still want to keep your cable or directv, no need for a smartv.

If you are want to dump the cable/directv and possibly even your laptop - get a smartv as you'll be able to use it to get all your shows online and check your email and all that crap.

That is truly amazing. In just 88 years they have been able to make a "smart" television yet Asians have been driving for 103 years and still no improvement.

*BONUS ALTERNATE PUNCHLINE*

..."smart" television but you still can't drink the water in Mexico.
