What did tied for 70th pay?

That's funny right there.

Penguin: Sad part is they aren't even going to pay you if they WIN, and i the ones who do pay you $25 back are going to ask you for $50 the next time, and then won't pay you back.

I'm sure you already heard the classic "I didn't FORGET about you." :scared from some of these deadbeats, or "You know I'm good for it." :scared

That's actually what got me thinking about it. One of the regs come up and said "hey, I know I owe you $50, but they got blackjack down to $5 a hand tonight and I think I can make a run. Can you spare another $50?"

He actually owes me $100 already and I didn't bother saying anything, figured I'd just write it off. That got me thinking about how many owed me money that I was probably just gonna write off and was a little pissed at myself that it got to up over $500.

I can honestly say outside of the one guy who I knew was good for it that not ONE person has paid me back anything. I guess I was wondering why they ask for a "loan" when they are really just mooching.

standard response from me when I get asked that question: Wish I could dude, this puts me almost halfway back to breaking even.

Lend it once, and they'll forever ask again and again.

No, would not give them a dime. They should have an ATM card if they need money.

Another side note is eventually some of these guys will move or pass away and you'll have to stand there and listen to people say how GREAT of a guy they were  Had one of these types "FOUND GOD" when someone told the local bookie, his reply was ,"I hope GOD helps him find the $500 he owes me," :0008
