Really want to take my 9 year old son but not sure how raunchy he may get if at all. I'm sure my boy has heard it all already but I still think I should be a good Dad and check this out 1st.

The guy is a riot and my son has seen his Christmas DVD(I highly recommend it) but not sure if he's a little more R-rated in concert.

I can hear my son now, "I know all the cuss words Dad, I just know not to say them". How cute. Oh well.

Thanks to anyone who can provide any info.

If you are trying to:

"Do the right thing, yada, yada, yada..."

By all means

DO NOT take your 9 year old son. I saw him this summer and his show was pretty raunchy. Lots of sexual and gay references not to mention very racial (BEANBAG JIM would have loved it!!!). Guitar guy was just as raunchy too. While he may have heard it all, the last thing you may need is him going to school and repeating some of the stuff he would learn there.

That said, he was really funny in concert and really nice to the crowd. A great show for the adults.

Thanks very much hunter. I had a feeling he might push the envelope a bit. Just discussed it with my wife. I think we're going to pass. I can't imagine being there at the concert and I'm the only guy there with a small child. Nice Dad!

We'll just watch the PG shows on Comedy Central.

Thanks again!

BTW, welcome to Madjacks!

Surprisingly or not, I saw a ton of kids I would say aged 12 or under at the show!!!

It was kind of funny watching the reactions on their parents faces and old women in the crowd as some of them were laughing or asking their parents what cocks were!!!

I think he actually has a comedy central variety show starting later this month, so hopefully that will scratch some of the itch. However, I do wonder if they will amp it up to be similar to Chapelle's show or Mencia if that is the demographic they are shooting for.
