If so, can you play for much of a profit? I have some huge variance between my locals lines and Pinny lines due to line movement and him always bumping stuff 1 or 2 points.

For instance, last night I take the Suns +1.5 (-105) on Pinny, by the time the game goes off he gives me Phx -4.5. Offering me a sweet middle with the reduced juice on the sharp side (allegedly based on line move). Well of course Phx wins by 3 and the middle hits.

I have posted several other situations in Foots, such as the Den/Ind game. I had Indy +4.5 on Jamaica, and Denver pick with him. Offering another great middle.

My question is, has anyone or does anyone try to exploit these situations? My Phx middle last night was basically $5 to win $200, or worst case $10 to win $200. How can this not be a hugely profitable situation in the long run if the lines are sharp? The key is hitting the line the second it comes out, and accurately predicting which way it will move.

Whats the math here, and am I missing something?

Aprreciate the help....

I dont have a local, but I was thinking the same thing as far as middling. It'd be tough to do, but I'd have to grab lines early in anticipation and it'd mostly only work for football, seems like a great situation for you with the local/online numbers being so far off at times.

With so many bball games, it offers even more situations. Plus this guy jacks every line!

yea i would just keep doing it if I were you, all you'd lose is the juice if it doesn't middle. with lines so sharp you'd def. be making up the lost juice by when you do middle.

middling takes work, time and can tie up your bankroll when you may need it. there is also the streaky possibility of not hitting, and the juice adding up.

in your situation, i think you have a better opportunity of taking advantage of his bad lines. cap your games and play them with him where you get the advantage. in the long run, those pushes and close losses all add up to winners.

i'm in a similiar situation with one of my locals. can pretty much guarantee that certain games he'll bump a point or two, depending on the action he is getting. use to be he just wouldn't update his lines throughout the day (especially a college hoops and football saturday), and i could take advantage of that as well, but he's gotten smarter. locals line moves are over-reactions to the play they get, another signal i'm on the right side, and more often than not, results in a bigger wager for me.

good luck.

The way I see it.....

The way I see it.....

Middles offer 20-1 odds..... Agent if you can keep getting those middles that have a 2 and 3 point middle range, then I believe in the long run you will def hit more than 1 time for every 20 times you try.. If you can only get 1 point middle....then the 20-1 odds will catch up with you after a while and the juice will eat you up givving you put the same amt on each side which is a MUST if you want 20-1 odds. Hope this helps.

I dont make it a middle play unless it is 3 in bball (totals too) and usually try to get 4 in foots but 3 is ok if a key number is involved.

what i have done with modest success, if i like a team (regular bet $100) Bet $150 on them & if i get nice middle put $75 other way. this reduces odds somewhat. gives a little insurance too, your company looking for another AGENT.
