My daughter got me binge :0corn :0069watching this past weekend and I am in season 2 and it seems like he is about to get caught. There are 6 seasons!!! she tells me. Is it worth watching to the end? Thanks.
Anyone watched Dexter on Netflix and did you like until the end?

There is a season with John Lithgow.....and you think "Oh cool! A phenomenal actor is in the series" (I think he's really good.) but then that season.....the writing isn't that good and it gets really weird.
Whatever that season is......ugh.....it was too weird. Then there is some weird shit between brother and sister....like sexual relationship even though they are siblings by marriage not birth....
BUT
I think there is a lot I love about this entire series.....weird shit excluded. I think it's worth it......but you do have to put up with a lot of shit. Season 1 and 2 are awesome!
Season 4 is the best (joker mentions above with lithgow as the Trinity killer) followed closely by season 2. Season 7 next, then season 1. You could argue season one ranks higher, but it was pretty slow in spots. Season 6 imho is definitely the worst and can be skipped entirely as the antagonist is lame (Tom Hanks son). Season 5 is next with revenge killer Lumen then season 3 with Jimmy Smits. Bringing up the rear at second to last is the final season 8 which was forgettable for sure.

It was by far my favorite show but as mentioned, it got weird/shitty in one of the last seasons. Keep going. Season 4 is top notch.
