Guys. if you followed my UT pick, I apologize. If I had it to do over, I still think I would have taken the Vols. The key was halftime adjustments, and the Vols made none. Once again, it came down to one staff making adjustments, and the other one not.

I was deeply disappointed in DC, Sal Sunseri. He brought no pressure the entire game and allowed Driskel to gain confidence. Game after game under Dooley, when adversity hits, his teams fold like a cheap tent.

Congrats to Florida for a huge road win, and for being able to do the things necessary to win under pressure.

I now know that this team had not changed other than the fact that there is more talent. Heart, character, and overcoming adversity will win many games.

Hats off to the Gators:0008

Apologies to those who followed:facepalm:

Where it is real F ing COLD
No need to apologize. I was on the VOLS but I liked them. Can't believe they imploded 2/3 into the third quarter. It was just an awful second half performance. They left a lot on the field.

cant win em all. get em next week. I think UF is a legit NC sleeper. if they can sort out their offensive woes and solidify good QB play theyre very dangerous.

on to next week though. what happened today is over and doesnt matter an ounce anymore.

:0008 and:toast: to all

As Nole can attest to, I don't take well to losing. That's the funny thing about this hobby, to me, it's not about the money, it's about wanting to win. Nice to come on though and be picked up by my MJ's brothers.

Lost too! I shouldve bought the bet back at halftime. Vince Dooley is a very poor coach and is usually out coached by SEC foes.

ahaha perhaps we have a real problem if we would do it without money, but fuck it, i love it..

Skip,

You are one of the best and the Vols will get even better. I try to stay silent when UF wins a rivalry game and I hope that I am as class of an act as you. I remember Spurrier's last year in 2001 when the Vols beat UF in Gainesville when I thought they were on their way to a title game. They lost, I was pissed and a U2 concert wasn't very special. lol.

War SEC!

Good luck.

None of this would be happening if that dipshit Hamilton had hired Brian Kelly when he had the chance.

They have to beat AT LEAST one of these:
@ UGA - horrible match-up and add on the road to that as well
@ Cowbell - much better match-up, but on the road
Bama -
@ Chickens - Spurrier is like playing Russian Roulette

Add to that you have to beat Mizzou at home, which is not a good match-up, and win at Vandy.

If he loses the above four, much less either of the last two:

:0008 to your boys. Our talent finally matched up well, so there are no more excuses from this staff. Two years ago - new system, last year - no depth, no more excuses for Fooley. Muschamp could easily be 1-2, but at 3-0 already winning two SEC road games, they have the schedule to get it done. After all, since we decided to drop into nickel and dime coverage every play, Driskel should be feeling real damn good about himself.

Oh, please. No apologies needed. Just gave your opinion. Should I apologize for backing ole miss, wake forest and navy:mj07:

I guess it turned out that the irrational public exuberance surrounding Vols offense was unjustified. On the bright side, bray, hunter and CP remain nice NFL prospects. On the down side, Dooley continues to show he is a lower tier coach in any conference, much less the SEC.

Something else that occurs to me is that Florida is the 3rd most talented team in the SEC, and have a top 3 defensive unit. On my birthday, lsu travels to the swamp. I predict now that Florida wins a low scoring game.

Good luck.
