26th: 2-5-1 -4.6
YTD: 36-24-2 +10.8 (18-19 ML, 6-1 RL, 12-4-2 totals)
(just gonna count pushes on totals--to hey with rainoutstuff)
comments: ouch; now I DO hope the pattern of 1 losing day and 2 winners continues; Bosox shoulda won, Mets were in the game, phillies had a chance, 1 too many runs @Coors, and 5 dang runs scored in 1st 3 @LA with none in final 6; thems the breaks
--thanks for the kind words from those few so bold as to partake of this calamity

Rock n Roll

shoulda coulda wouldas:
--atl@Mets u7 (silly me--thinking I coulda got an 8 for this one; 2 SPs facing their old clubs here)
--reds +120 (I think the Reds could take this one, especially vs Dempster, but I don't have that much faith in Harang--wanted something better than +125; over might be a good shot here, when it opens)
--padres -110 (Redding I'm not crazy about, but Pads can hit lefties (who can't hit Rueter this year?); wanted better than +100--can't lay juice on this; over is again tempting)
--Rockies and/or under (Leiter just 2-3 w/6.63 era @Coors; Kennedy's 1 semi-decent start happened at home; want at least +125 if I'm considering Rocks here)
--az@LA o8 (not with each club on 6-inning zero streaks; Weaver has the occassional beauty start (every 2nd game so far--0 er then 8, 0 er then 8...due for a zero here  ); Halsey has looked decent also)

--o's@Bosox o10.5 (reminds me of Texas-Seattle last night...why I'm not all over this I do not know)
--chisox@A's o8.5 (Sarloos turns me off, but Garcia has looked great in 3 of his 4 starts, including both of his road starts (@Clev & KC))
--may try, try again with det@Clev under, especially if same matchup--lefty vs Westbrook, if and when it opens
--m's +120 (simply because this game looks like a total coin-toss to me...that's why I clench my money here)
--twins -140 (way too expensive; Anderson was, is, and will be brutal again, but I need something BETTER than -125 to try Twinkies here (Anderson did hold opponents to 3 er in his 1st 2 starts (6 IP @LAA and 7.2 IP vs Det), and Mays is only averaging 6 innings/start through his 1st 2 (beauty in his last @Clev, mind you)

Back with some wanna-be's after I finish up my regrets from yester :cursin: day.

pretty please with sugar on tops:
--Cards -1.5 1/1 (I don't believe that Santos is as good as his numbers suggest--opponenets hit .278 against him last year; Cards saw Santos for 8 innings on the 17th (8 innings of 4 hit ball by Vic) and I believe that will favour Cardsticks; Carp comes in on 5 days rest after a 7-hit shutout vs Cubs)
--Mets 1.1/1 (Glavine, the home team, and seemingly unwarranted disrespect for Hampton made me do it)
--phillies 2.4/2 (love Myers (era ballooned from 0.44 to 1.71 in last @Braves, despite K'ing 7 over 6 IP work), dislike Loaiza (no decision in a 5-4 WashWin @Philly for his first start); just hoping the Phils take their batting practice)

--chisox 2.6/2 (Garcia has been solid and should be in form here (3-2 w/3.74 era in 7 starts at Network--A's hitting .194 against him there); Sarloos opened season with a beauty at Baltimore, but has since come crashing down to earth, where he certainly belongs)
--NYY 2.9/2 (is it me or does this line seem cheap?; Mussina not that bad in his last at T.O., despite line admitting 10 hits over 5.1 IP--he pitched out of jams very effectively; individually the Angels have done little vs Moose, including Vladdy at 0 for 9--Moose is 13-6 w/3.48 vs Angels; Jeter, A-Rod, BernieW, Tino, and Sheffield all hit Washburn better than .300, while Giambi, Tino and A-Rod have each taken Jarrod deep multiple times)
--tb@Jays u9.5 2.4/2 (a couple up-and-coming lefties trying to make names for themselves, here; I've seen several Chacin starts, and his 2.52 era and 1.00 whip look for real; biggest concerns for me are inexperience and D'Rays tenacity vs lefties last season...oh yeah...and bullpens; Dan Iassogna is a very agreeable ump for the under)

If I've said it once, I've said it twice:

Cards -1.5 +100 1/1
Mets -110 1.1/1
phillies -120 2.4/2

chisox -130 2.6/2
NYY -145 2.9/2
tb@T.O. u9.5 -120 2.4/2

Total Risk: 12.4u

May you not require, yet be in, stitches.

While I don't play alot of 'bases, I dabble.

Sometimes your posts get me on to a game I missed or don't have an opinion on....and sometimes I get off a game that I would have bet. But either way, your insight is helpful and I look for you input daily...

Your posts are appreciated, thanx

Rough go @Network, as Chisticks slept after the 1st.
Phillies just bought me this play:
Indians -130 1.3/1 (I like Injuns here better vs the righty (Bonderman) than originally scheduled lefty, plus my confidence in Westbrook may be generously unwarranted; woulda tried under 9 with Westy/lefty, but 8.5 w/Bonder is nah)

May your labours bear fruit.
