Looking at two for tomorrow...

Ottawa vs. Boston - My B's should get their asses handed to them up in Ottawa. There's the earth rotating on a different axis again...It's just at what price will I pay?

Washington vs. Florida - Lean to Panthers...Panthers are tough on the road. Caps first home game after a 6 game tour of Canada.

Seven of the last nine meetings in this series have been decided by one goal or less.

Washington, which is 5-1-1 in its last seven at home, will play its final three regular season games on MCI Center ice, where it is 22-12-2-2 on the season.

The Panthers are 1-3-1 in their last five on the road and 16-14-6-4 on opposition ice this year.

Washington is 3-0-1 in its four matchups against Florida this season and is 5-0-1 in the last six. Florida has lost three straight and nine of its last 10 at Washington.

With 88 points, the Caps are sixth in the Eastern Conference and three points back of the Southeast-leading Tampa Bay Lightning. Washington is also just four points in front of the Boston Bruins.

Florida, meanwhile, is trying to play spoiler, but comes into the contest struggling after Saturday's 1-1 stalemate with the Lightning.

Aces - I'm looking at this one

Florida +1.5 (-140) @ Washington

At +1.5 pucks, Florida would be 5-1 ATS in the last 6 road games

Very tempting

Oh, BTW...The wounds (and now scars) of 1986 went very deep. After Barrett struck out to end the 1986 WS, I swore I'd never root for the Sox again...I'm at 17 years now without rooting for the Sox. I picked up the Braves because my grandmother rooted for them until the day she died. She was a Braves fan when they played here in Boston...Now that I'm married and my wife works for one of the bankrupt airlines, I just fly from city to city to catch games at different parks. Can't WAIT for the new one in downdown Philly to open next year. Maybe we can meet for a drink or two? :toast:

POSTED (24-17) $320

Playing -

Florida Panthers +1.5 (-140) @ Washington Capitals

Panthers real tough on the road and while the Caps are solid at home (22-12-2-2) it is their first home game after 6 game road trip. Panthers would be 5-1 ATS getting 1.5 pucks in their last 6 road games.
