Above the Clouds....
I've never even heard of a meat pie before. I'm always open for new things and I'd like to try one. Do you think your wife would share the recipe? Thanks and Happy Holidays to you and yours!

okay morris....here is the copy & paste from my wife's e-mail...let me know if you have any questions...

Meat pie recipe

These ingredients are for 2 pies

2 1/2 lbs of grounded beef
3 cloves of garlic
1 big onion
1 tsp of cinnamon
salt & pepper
1 tbs of olive oil
2 big Idaho potatoes
2 boxes of Pillsbury crust pie (2 crust per pie)

Boil the potatoes in water.

While its cooking, sauted the onion, garlic and meat. Once cooked, add the spice in the meat.

Once the potatoes are cooked, mash them and then, mix them with the meat.

Pour the mixture in the pies.

Bake at 350 for 50 minutes or until the crust is gold.

Bon Appetit!
