They should never have gone into a season with these 2 scrubheads. Why wouldn't you give Jake Plummer a call rather than counting on Tarvaris and Gus. Give Pitt credit for grabbing Leftwich who is better than either of these guys. Bad move by Minny who could be a contender with a medium grade QB.

This Minnesota team would have been very tough with a solid QB. Very Tough, unfortunately they didn't have some at the most important position and now they're sitting home.

Yes, and New England has 2 of them... :0corn :00x31

And I'll say it before someone else does... and they still didn't make the playoffs... :sadwave:

Cassell is servicable and that is what you need in a backup. Billy Volek is better than either of the bums Minnesota throws out. Kerry Collins was available on the scrap heap and Tenn went 12-4 so it pays to get a nice savvy veteran an not a mediocre career bench warmer like Gus Frerotte. Tarvaris is a shocker he's even in the league.

I would say there are 10 good qb's in the NFL here are the okay ones

Manning
Manning
Brady
Cassel, for 1/2 a year
Romo questionable
Philip Rivers
Roethlisberger
Favre
McNabb
Ryan, maybe good, maybe not
Warner
Carson Palmer was good until knee surgery
Brady Quinn has potential to be good

thats about it

we need some juniors to come out

"the bunker"
If I limit my additions to JUST QBs that have won a playoff game, I would add Brees, Hasselbeck, Delhomme and Pennington to any 2009 listing that includes Romo, Favre and Warner. Just my opinion.

GL

amen......and it`s insane at this point to include quinn over flacco....

c`mon hedge...you aren`t being objective...

what the hell has quinn done to be mentioned over brees, hasselbeck, delhomme and pennington, much less flacco......

btw...i didn`t get involved in the pennington bashing threads in the forum yesterday, but, this guy`s receiving corps makes the raven`s mediocre bunch look like all time greats...

what pennington accomplished with that group of scrubs is pretty much off the charts...
