Painting inside of garage and back of house.

The back was the only part I didn't brick and I wish I did now.

I don't know what kind of paint yet.

Prob 2 coats.

I brush and roll my garage every 2 years.. Ultra Pure White by Behr [interior flat..]
Garage takes a beating every year because it is our entrance and exit..

easier to cut and roll than to spray to me..

plus in my single car garage the limited air space not big fun w/gun..

I use the Wagner gun on the popcorn ceilings in the house..If you follow directions closely and get the paint thinned just right the guns are a dream...Brand new the tips are perfect and with just a little practice[scrap plywood or something close.] you can shoot a wall in a jiffy..keep in mind ..that's taping off everything prior to shooting.
Make sure to clean tips when you stop..clean the lines if you are pulling straight from the can..
If using gun well attachment clean also..

I have never used a gun on the outside of a house..

Wife does the tuff cuts and I roll and brush the rest..

Buddies of my swear by the power roller

Never used it myself..

Thanks, I pretty much decided to roll it. Not sure what to do with the exterior yet.

Fiber Cement Siding

http://www.cement.org/homes/ch_bs_fibercement.asp

There is a flaw in the design of the house and on 2 sides of the back water drains and hits the wall kinda hard. So, I have two spots about 3' in circumference that is peeling off. I will be redirecting that water off, somehow, and then I'll try to just paint the bad areas because the rest of the wall is just like new. If that doesn't work, I'll just paint or have painted the whole back wall.

Painting my house this year-outside and trim. Spraying the sides-brushing the trim. 2 coats-either Ben Moore or Sherwin Willimas-waiting until end of May

I would not recomend spraying the outside. I sprayed the insde of my fence last year and used about 8 gallons of stain. Then I stained the outside of my fence by hand and used about 3 gallons. There is alot of over spray and wasted paint when using the spray gun outside.
