My big play is on the under in the Miami / Detroit game. Miami is capable of a shutout here going against a pretty listless Detroit offense. With Norv Turner now at the helm, he will probably do what he did in Dallas and that is to give it to his best running back 20 - 30 times a game. Miami will throw alot of dumps and run short timing routes which makes me think the big offensive plays will be at a minimum. Miami has been horrible for me covering the number at home so im going with a low scoring game and taking the under 35 1/2 as my big play today.

Other plays:

Cincy - 2 1/2 over San Diego - Yes Cincy is a much improved team and add in the fact that their defense will be going against a young Drew Brees, well dare i say it, I like the Bengals to cover the number.

Minnesota +4 1/2 over Chicago - Will Chicago enjoy the benefits of fortunate turnovers this year like they did last year, well that is to be determined but they moved from grass to turf and even though Minnesota has a weak "D", the Chicago offense doesnt scare me enough to not take the Vikings, who still have big play ability and should benefit more from playing on turf in Chicago then natural grass. Taking the Vikings + the 4 1/2

Good Luck guys...it is week one so tread carefully.

DD
