maybe im a little jaded because i dont really see the nfl and their billionaire boys club owners as above reproach. maybe i took pause when a couple of cleveland relief pitchers demonstrated how easy it is to manipulate outcomes, they just werent sophisticated enough to do it in an undetectable manner, like someone with access to an nfl game plan. there are a thousand ways to manipulate various outcomes that would be undetectable to the betting public or regulators. do you believe all nfl teams print money? do you believe the league is populated by nothing but honorable people? ask the nflpa. ask jon gruden. i just know the questions, i dont know the answers. hell, i dont even like it when i'm asked if its ok to let the dealer play in a poker game. all i know from being around gamblers for 60 years is someone is always angling. and i firmly believe that there is absolutely no way that the nfl should be able to make book on games. that cannot end well. please dont tell me they have too much to lose, as a half century in the legal profession has taught me that logic never hold up. greed holds no bounds.

Does that mean no refs or players will ever be on the take - of course not... to me, that's just wayyyy different than the games being FIXED... especially a regular season game between Arizona and Tennessee LMMMAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

agree with everything you said Loop.......very well said. The games may not be FIXED but there's no way you can tell me that at least a few players and refs more likely are not on the take. Seen too many phantom flags and missed calls not to think this way that turn games COMPLETELY around, not to mention teams punching it in in the last few seconds to assure a "cover"..........again, greed holds no bounds

On the course!
Vegas casinos don't cheat - they don't need to. Same point here. it's not worth the CHANCE
I'm not saying the NFL cheats. Im saying it's a business with employees. The boss directs the employees, correct?

No different here. I believe professional sports executives know EXACTLY what teams/personnel get them the most bang. To that end, they orchestrate what they need to in order to get that bang.

How many times do I have to say it?

If you cant understand that no matter how you look at it, we're all betting on coin flips every Sunday and paying vig to do it with our hard earned money. then you shouldn't be gambling on sports. I feel stupid enough trying to beat the freakin' juice, but then I have to pay TAXES on anything I DO win if I'm lucky enough to do so? Shit. It's a damn near impossible ask. Add in all the world class variance in every game and the scummy refs and their questionable calls 50% of the time and you have to be an absolute serial killer to win year in and year out. Don't care who you are, hitting 60% for a year of NFL is GODLIKE.
In my monkey brained opinion, there's only ONE trick to all of this.. It's not about thinking you're good at picking sides and totals. MOST people aren't skilled enough to do that as much as people want to think they are. Trust me. Vegas is better at it than you are. It's not about understanding systems, trends, revenge, stats etc. All that stuff is wonderful and can give you an edge sometimes if you work hard enough at it BUT....

If you want to hang around in the sports gambling game for years, you have to understand It's about DICIPLINE. If you don't have the discipline to NOT chase. You're done. If you dont have the discipline not to stay with a betting system and money management system? You're done. If you don't have the discipline and constitution to handle insane losses and sick beats? You're done. If you blindly follow peoples plays online without researching and trying to cap the games yourself? You're done. DICIPLINE is a SKILL. Try it and see if you can do it? And if you already have a system that you honestly stick to and you still lose and have no fun? TIME TO STOP BETTING. Maybe never bet more than maybe 10% of your entire roll in a week. Maybe never bet more than 1 or 2% of your roll on any given game depending on your risk tolerance. As your roll decreases, you decrease your bets. As your roll increases, you raise your bets. You don't chase. EVER. THAT is a SKILL. Try it for an entire season and see if you can do it. Most cant becuase they dont have the discipline. But if you do, you can hang around this game for a long, long time.

You guys crack me up with the fixed stuff - if there is any business in America (certainly of the Sports leagues) that doesn't need it, it's this one.

But keep making yourselves feel better
Ya. Definitely not saying fixed. Saying the suck balls. Alll the balls 😂
