Arizona, which could start next season as the top-ranked college basketball team in the country, heads the field for the 11th Wooden Classic announced Monday.

Joining Arizona in the December 5 event at the Arrowhead Pond will be UCLA, Boston College and Mississippi State.

Arizona, which features freshman standouts Mustafa Shakur and Hassan Adams, will face Mississippi, and UCLA will take on Boston College in the doubleheader.

UCLA will be making its second straight appearance in the Wooden Classic and seventh overall, falling to Kentucky, 52-50, last season.

Arizona is 2-0 in the Classic, beating Utah (69-61) in 1996 and Purdue in 2001 (79-66).

Boston College and Mississippi State will each be making their debut in the event.
