I played Tennessee today. I am a big fan of tennessee this year, and i am a big fan of Pearl but today he disapointed me. Now tennessee may win and cover but its alot closer then it should be. Can someone explain to me why when you are only up 11 points with 9+ minutes left you decide to change your offensive mindset? Tenn decides to slow it down and run clock and goes 3+ minutes without a score and lets ARkansas regain momentum and take the lead.

He is going to make some bad calls. Slowing the game down was a terrible choice but the guy is a super coach.

Agree 100% about him being a great coach. Thats why i was suprised to see him slowing down the game with that much time left. I actually have tennessee as sleeper final four team just concerned about rebounding.

When you get outrebounded 38-17 at home, you don't deserve to win. I can't really blame that one on Pearl.

They have been killed on the boards but were in complete control of the game until they decided to slow it down.

Yes, I was smart enough to recognize that before the game but for some unknown reason decided to jump on to Tennessee at halftime. I could forgive myself when I was too dumb to recognize bad lines, but it's so much worse that I recognize them and am STILL getting burned by them.

I figured that evryone else would put the 18-3 run into their capping skills, , don't know how I overlooked it. Tennessee had this game WRAPPED UP, and gave it away. OVERRATED is a term that comes to mind!

These HOME games are the ones that GOOD teams must take advantage of!! :fingerc:
