These are the types of games that players tend to over study. :nono: In most cases a player would play the small number and take the home team due to the distance one team had to travel across country. This is not that case. I will simplify and break this game down for you!

First you have a team coming in thats all most totally in tack from last year. (A team that totally shut down tcu in the bowl game and held them to 10 points ).
This should reduce penalities and turn overs and be a huge factor in tonights game. Boise returns all 11 starters from last years offense.
Second you have a team that is only returning 4 starters on the defense in v/t. Confusion in the secondary and miss coverages in the first game is normal. In most cases a team could get away with a few mistakes, but Boise has the qb and the weapons to really expose this young defensive team.
Thirdly, v/t strength is their rushing attack which just happens to be Boise States #1 strength, there front 7. The last three great rushing teams have not ran for over 60 yards against this defensive front. So don't think for a minute v/t will run all over B.St., because they won't.:violin:
Add into the fact that you want v/t running and not throwing means this team can't fall behind or your in trouble.
V/t always has great special teams and good coaching, and playing at a nuetral site close to home, they will have the crowd behind them. But understanding that v/t gets a spread plus of 6 points playing at home also tells me that vegas thinks Boise is actually 5 points better than v/t. I have them a touchdown better, with experience and a offense that should not beat themselves.
Boise is the better team. Boise has the better offense and the better defense. To me i think this is a Boise State solid win,with v/t scoring a garbage touchdown making it look closer. I am making this my biggest play in this early football season. Looking at a 30-21 score. with Boise in total control the whole game.:toast:
