Tonight I will risk my first 20 dimes on a baseball game. I have waited for this game for a week. I have watched this Overton pitch for the A's and he will get rocked tonight. Having Lester on the hill doesn't hurt either in this mismatch. I said a week ago to myself this line will be -270 to -300. I am more than happy to get the Cubs against who I think is the worst pitcher in the major league's at -200.

GL Arrow!!! I like it looks good, but the damn A's are so scrappy and tend to play UP to good teams (took 3/4 from SF!) and they've been swinging the bats pretty good. I'll join ya, but for a small play here

Sad to say we probably won't be seeing Overton pitch again this year! I said he is the worst pitcher in MLB. He threw 54 strikes, but at 88 mph and a 74 mph curve and a 80 mph change it's like hitting a college pitcher.

I'm at the game!! It was absolutely atrocious! I was feeling sorry for him at one point he looked lost and confused not knowing what to throw next. Cubs hitters were TEEING off every at bat literally!! Bryant was the only one not hitting. Overton has to be done!

This is a guy who at one time along with Jonathan Gray @ Oklahoma, was destined to be an impact pitcher, but arm ailments and his screwed up delivery have helped him decline in talent, now he's trying to pitch on brains and that ain't happening for him, the A's should know this, he's a situational pitcher now, just as many relievers are now in the big leagues.
