I love Ames, but this trip I am just going to a couple floor care stores in Des Moines with my brother to buy all the flooring for the house in Knoxville he is building for me. He's retired and needed something to do and he's trying to get it finished before bow hunting starts, lol

No problem, there is a great lil mom n pop diner in Knoxville off the split there, I can't remember that damn highway intersection name, but the biscuits and gravy are the bomb!! Wish I remembered the name too!! But that's been over 20 years ago!! :facepalm:
