Looked at a lot of box scores and stats on this game, including the last few years these teams played. Games are always tight know matter how bad one of the teams may be.I know the bears are going to try and run the football and keep lions off the field.First 3 games they threw and could not protect cutler. Last week they ran 31 times for 224 against carolina. I don't know if they can run or not, but like the idea for a shortened game at least for the first half. Lions front is good and i look for bears to run and throw short quick passes. I do like the lions, but really hard to back a team that has yet to play one good first half in four games. Last two games they were down by 20 at the half. Lions are behind and are in throwing mode. Don't think this will be that type of game and with public hammering the over and Detroit, i see some value at least in the first half under of 24. Based on how the lions have played in each first half and the bears coaching staff telling us they will try to run and control clock, i will also take the bears in the first half. I am thinking a 10-10 first half score. If it is i will probably play a lions and over when i get a 24 second half over/ under and a line of detroit by 3-, 4.
I do think lions win this game, but i will not touch them in any first half until they can prove us wrong.

Now they go on the road against a divisional rival in 1st place *tied

Its hard to make sense of what Martz is doing on a week by week basis with that offense. However, this has the makings of a competitive game.
