Can you share what the back surgery procedure is called? I am looking into having something done myself.

On the lower right they are removing part of my lowest lumbar vertebrae which is tilted and pinching my sciatic nerve since an accident I had in 10th grade. Two incisions on the left side and are shooting fluid into my nerve cavity which is only 4mm and needs to be 9-10 mm. This small opening is not enough room for movement and when that side becomes cool often pinches the left sciatic nerve. Left side is basic in todays medicine and right side with vertebrae is a little more of a higher risk which they have put off for years because of my age, always said to live with the pain. Like I said I am more than ready to swing a club and get back to playing racquetball and maybe an occasional "3 pointer".
