Ames Iowa is always tough to play at. Iowa state is sneaky better than people think because their coach is one of the best in the business who gets the most from his players. Texas has twice as much talent, but in Ames will keep the cyclones playing hard and a lower scoring game then people think.

I can only laugh as i see the thread posted Iowa State sucks! I don't think these people watched the usc/texas game. If they did they would of saw one of the very best offenses and qb's in college football get totally dominated for 58 minutes by this Texas defense. Iowa state is a solid coached team with lack of 5 star recruits like the big school gets. They are never an easy out in Ames. No way did I ever think this total would hit 50 let alone 62.5. Football should get a little easier now that we are in week 4 and we have stats and film on these teams.
