I know i am going against the grain here in this pick, but i will not bet on beckett against the Yankees until he shows me he can get through a game without giving up 3-4 homers a game against them. He has givin up 9 homers in the last 26 innings against the yankees. I really think i am getting the better pitcher here for this ONE game at a pretty good value. I know the yankees are going to put some runs up agains Beckett, so in making these selections i feel i will go 1-1 at worst. I have been questioning why there are so many touts on this game over. The lakers are not scoring alot and not winning because they have no continuity at all because Phil has been playing 11 guys with alot of minutes. Those who played the game understand that, seems that right when you get it figured out, you have new people and no flow at all!. Last time these two met it was 177 total points. I see this game as another grinder. It may start out a little higher but eventually will turn into Durant with the ball and Kobe with the ball and every one else standing around. I look for this game to be around 94-88, well below the under.
