Maui by far is my favorite Hawaiian island. Checkout out Merriman's in Kapalua; the snorkeling is also great right at the beach below. If your a first timer, make sure to do the road to Hana.

Yes...nice area about lahaina. Glad you enjoy yourselves. On weekends there a craft fair there also. If you like beers...go down to Wailea and visit a pub named monkeypod pub? If that's the name. I forget the actual name if different. But great craft beers there. Happy Hour too. Have fun!
