If you watch these clowns and watch a lot of teams under pressure to make the post-season, ie, Giants, Dodgers, Brewers, the hitters are all dropping their back shoulders during their swings, thus flying open on the front side and popping up pitches they should be crushing. This is typical of players who feel a lil "choke" hold on their throats. You didn't see this happen with Nats, Angels and Orioles much the past few days leading up to their clinchers did ya? Dodgers did it a lot in the last 2 games @ Coors field and Giants did it quite often vs Arizona, A's have done this since Cespedes was traded and Brewers currently are doing the same thing. All this has proven is, these teams have mostly played "under games" except the Dodgers @ Coors field.
Melvin managed the same way with the D-Backs, then he was fired!! You can't win by thinking you are going to win, you have to execute and make good decisions. Leave Sam in into the 9th and let him make you take him out before going to the pen in the 9th!! Bunch of managers who sit on their thumbs and read, "Moneyball" all the time are itching for a disaster and dismal career.
A's right now may not make the playoffs.
Oh yeah, if you watch the Tigers and Royals, these two teams are both doing what I said up above and if you watched the Tigers game last night, Cabrera on 2nd and a runner at 3rd, Cabrera runs off the 3rd base runner leading into a double play and thus the chance of a go ahead run or two for Tigers turns into a road loss vs the Twins!! Fucking Tigers!!
Angels just might play the Nats for the World Series!!
Good thing their are 9 innings mostly in baseball!! :mj07:
