We kid around a lot, and sometimes it gets ugly, but this is real life and somtimes life is a real bitch, I hope in the end you and your daughter are OK. She will need her dad now.

My daughter was taken to the ER last night with severe stomach pain. Due to health issues and complications they will have to take the baby which will not survive. I cannot tell you all how much it lifted both our spirits to log on and read all the kind words and thoughts this morning. My daughter should fully recover, but she is an emotional wreck right now and as a single parent, even when they are 28, it is difficult to see. Again, I can't tell you how much I appreciate the thoughts. I will update everyone when she is out of surgery.

So sorry to hear this - that is awful. Last summer, my sister had to give birth to a child at 20 weeks that had died... that was really hard, and so sad. I wrote this poem below for her when her baby died. You and your daughter can have it now...
Thinking of you and your family.
FOREVER
Your precious soul will be veiled forever
to our earthly life,
But we carry you eternally in our hearts.
We remember you in the trees that blow
in the breeze,
In the grass that covers the soft earth,
In the blooms of flowers and
the infinite stars above.
