Asked or Axed

Axed is more versatile. It can be used as an ebonic synonym for "asked", but can also be used to as the equivalent of firing someone or ruthlessly removing something.

That is, of course, in addition to the most common definition of "To chop or fell with or as if with an ax."

So axed is the better word.:tongue

Bow wow wow, yippee yo, yippee ya, the sound of a dog brings me to another day...

Anyway, how about all those people on these chat boards who don't know the difference between your and you're? How about lose and loose? This list could go on and on. How about penmanship?? People can't even write legibly anymore. I have noticed that most elderly people, barring excessive "shakes", have writing that all looks the same, very neat and legible just the way they were taught.
