ESPN can deny it all it wants, but the only reason this game is on tv is for people to bet on. There will be not one viewer outside Troy and North Texas watching this game for sheer enjoyment.

Forget North Texas history. They only got 5 starters on offense coming back and 4 on defense.
So far they've managed 7 points a game in 3 games including the barnburn 2 - 54 loss at home to tulsa of all teams.

Troy at least has put up some points against some average opponents in S. Carolina and Missouri. Although not powerhouses, both teams at least belong in division 1.

I won't claim to know much about either team, but if you can only score 2 at home against Tulsa that says nothing for your offense. Forget the past.

Funny, you looked at this game the same way that I did. I looked at last years pre-conference scores and NT followed a similar scoring pattern, averaging 12 points per game thru the 1st 4. They also lost at home to Fla Atl. Bottom line was 2 points against Tulsa at home this year, though. Good Luck on the play.
