I would start by betting the Cardinals on every game I would think?

I would wait until the Pads are a game away from eliminatiion to bet on St Louis. Or you could wager on St. Louis To win the series against the Padres.

at least break even and get a smaller freeroll.

put 650 or so (currently -325 at some places) on cards to win series. if you lose that you have even better hedge in the next series. and if you win you get your 200 back.
